Seattle Seahawks Baby ClothesOne of my favorite memories as a child was when my mother accidentally dressed me in Seattle Seahawks baby clothes. My mother was never really that big of a sports fan, but to her father there was nothing more important than family and sports. After moving to Seattle (shortly after my mother had me) he quickly became a fan of both the Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks. My grandfather invited me and my mother to my first professional baseball game. My mother thought it would be cute to dress me up as a player to surprise my grandfather. She went out and bought me a complete Seattle Seahawks kid's uniform complete with helmet and pads. My mom was so proud as we knocked on my grandpa's door. He opened the door and my mom yelled "surprise" and he nearly fell over laughing. I didn't know what was so funny, but I started laughing too. My mom asked "What is it the wrong size?" To which my grandfather replied "Wrong size? Try the wrong sport!" My mom started laughing too. We went to the game and had a great time, even if I was wearing Seattle Seahawks jersey!
