Denny Hamlin's racing career has been a roller coaster ride. In his rookie season he won 2 races and finished 3 in points. Denny quickly gained a lot of fans and sold tons of merchandise including hats, shirts and Denny Hamlin baby clothes. 

Then his career cooled of a bit and he lost a little luster. While he was still doing well, but he just wasn't winning races or contending for the championship. Then came 2010.

Denny started the season with a hurt knee and his pain was visible in the fact he wasn't racing that well. After a slow start Denny figured his season was over and opted for knee surgery. No one expected Denny to have much of a chance at winning anything, but they were wrong. By the end of the 2010 season Denny had raked up 8 wins and wound up 2nd in the Chase of the Sprint Cup. 

At the start of 2011 Denny Hamlin gear was some of the hottest stuff around. But sadly for Denny he only garnered on win and was never really in contention for the cup. 

Now in 2012 Denny seems to have found his groove again, but only time will tell.
